Welcome to Figure Skating at UCI!
We are an official club sports of UC Irvine competing in the USFSA collegiate league. The figure skating club was founded by Marian Gilton in 2013 and has continued to grow ever since. Our team currently consists of 30+ skaters, a third of which are competitive and a majority who are recreational skaters. Our competitions include the events of solo ice dance and men’s and ladies’ programs. We encourage a sense of community for those attending UCI who have either been directly involved with ice skating, or for people who hold an appreciation for the ice sports. There is no experience needed to join! As athletes, we have been blessed with an abundant amount of opportunities and so we strive to share our love of skating with those who are new to the sport.
